CELEBRATE: 10 YEARS!Can it already be a decade? Pactimo has enjoyed an incredible ride – we provide apparel for Olympic athletes, world champions, elite racers, and everyday cyclists around the world. We started in a basement and 1 million performance garments later, we are known for beautiful design, outstanding technical performance, and the best customer service in the industry. COMMITMENT: WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.Our ride has been about more than the chamois (or lycra, or wicking fabric) – it’s been about making this planet a better place. We have had the honor of working with some fantastic people doing amazing things, groups like: water.org, the Bahati Foundation, 1in6, and HOPE worldwide to name a few. Providing safe drinking water, helping urban youth, supporting victims of sexual abuse, supplying disaster relief…these people are changing the world for the better. They are making a difference, and we are glad to help. (Learn more how we are ImPactful.) CAMPAIGN: 10in10!We want to take it higher, and here’s our plan: Find ten non-profit groups – small or large – doing outstanding work directly helping people in need. What does a 10in10 beneficiary receive?
Each of the ten selected non-profits will be assigned a specific month in 2013. During that month, the beneficiary organization will receive a significant boost to their cause. This will take place in three ways:
- Boosting awareness: During their month, Pactimo will feature the non-profit and their mission to our entire e-mail subscriber list, on our Facebook page, and in our Twitter feed. We will also spread the word through our industry contacts. By doing this, we will be able to introduce tens of 1000’s of people to the cause.
- Cash contributions: Pactimo will set aside a $500 matching fund for each beneficiary non-profit. During their month, Pactimo will take cash donations through our website for that organization, and we will match up to $500 of those donations. Max’d out, that means $1000 in cash funding to the non-profit!
- Fund-raising: We’ll specially design a For A Cause cycling jersey and running T for each organization to feature in our online store for that month. $20 of every jersey and $10 of every T will go to the non-profit.
