Challenged Athletes Foundation – our March 2013 10in10 Charity

Pactimo selects Challenged Athletes Foundation as first 10in10 charity. 

The Challenged Athletes Foundation’s (CAF) mission is to provide opportunities and support to people with physical disabilities so they can pursue active lifestyles through physical fitness and competitive athletics. CAF believes that involvement in sports at any level increases self-esteem, encourages independence and enhances quality of life.

“We are honored to be selected as a benefiting charity of Pactimo’s 10in10 campaign,” said Virginia Tinley, Executive Director of the Challenged Athletes Foundation. “We look forward for this opportunity which we hope will not only allow us to support more challenged athletes, but also inspire others – both able bodied and physically challenged.”

About the 10in10 Campaign

The Pactimo 10in10 campaign was designed with the goal of benefitting ten non-profit organizations in 2013 and commemorates Pactimo’s tenth year of operations, as well as its core mission of having a positive impact on society.

The 10in10 campaign has been designed to:

• Boost awareness: During each charity’s month, Pactimo will help bring awareness to their cause.
• Generating Cash contributions: Pactimo  will match up to $500 of donations made to the charity.
• Help with Fund-raising: Pactimo will design a For A Cause cycling jersey and running tee to feature in our online store for that month. $20 of every jersey and $10 of every running tee will go to the non-profit.
