Stage 17 Racing is a development cycling team based in Southern California that provides a professional atmosphere for cyclists between the ages of 18 and 25, helping prepare them for the next level. They serve to bridge the gap between unpolished junior athletes and well trained professionals.

Stage 17 Racing is owned and operated by STAGE17.ORG, a nonprofit organization created by Michael Roecklein using cycling as a vehicle for promoting a healthy lifestyle and heightened self-esteem in adolescents. Roecklein’s background as a secondary school educator and love of bicycle racing has made him a natural at mentoring young cyclists. His passion for cycling and developing youth has led to the creation of Stage 17 Racing and Stage17.org.
