Pactimo and 1in6 Join Forces to Support Men

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. – Mar. 15, 2012 - Pactimo, a leading provider of premium technical athletic apparel, is excited to announce its partnership with “1in6, Inc.,” a nonprofit organization established by founding board member and three time Tour de France champion Greg LeMond. 1in6 is dedicated to supporting men who have experienced unwanted or abusive sexual experiences in childhood.

“We are extremely proud to support 1in6 and their mission to help men who have experienced sexual abuse live healthy, happy lives,” said Frank Kim, CEO of Pactimo. “We will donate $20 from the sale of every 1in6 jersey or bib shorts as a way to demonstrate our commitment and further support the cause.”

“I know first-hand how the pain and shame of such childhood experiences can affect one’s life,” said LeMond. “I was so impressed by 1in6’s mission and objectives that I joined the board of directors, and I’m committed to doing everything I can to ensure their success.”

1in6 offers a wealth of information and resources through its website (1in6.org), the most comprehensive online resource in the world on this issue. Information and services support men at different stages of seeking information and help, including those who are not yet ready to “break their silence” through hotlines, therapist selection assistance and an anonymous online community.

LeMond, who won the Tour de France in 1986, ’89, and ’90, will be the guest of honor at the 8th annual Tour of the Battenkill, the largest one-day road race in America, held in Cambridge, NY on April 14-15. LeMond will lead the 22-mile non-competitive ‘Bike Marathon-Battenkill’ ride in support of 1in6.

The 1in6.org cycling jersey and bib shorts will be offered through the Pactimo Retail Store for $60 and $85 respectively. Pactimo will donate $20 from the purchase of either item to 1in6 all through the 2012 cycling season.

Pactimo Supports Rebuilding in Haiti Via HOPE Worldwide

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. – DEC 19, 2011 - Pactimo, a leading provider of premium technical athletic apparel, is partnering with HOPE worldwide to support the continuing rebuilding of Haiti in the aftermath of the 2010 earthquake. The seismic event and its many aftershocks destroyed large swaths of the capitol, killed thousands, and left up to one million homeless. HOPE worldwide was an immediate presence in the relief effort and has now transitioned into long-term rebuilding programs including a children’s center, school and housing for homeless families.

“In this holiday season, Pactimo is happy to serve as a catalyst in the provision of care to the people of Haiti,” said Frank Kim, Pactimo Chief Executive Officer. “In order to maximize participation, we’ve deeply discounted our Ascent line of shorts so that as many as possible can be involved in the excellent work of HOPE worldwide.”

Pactimo Announces Partnership with Bahati Foundation

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. – Nov. 10, 2011 - Pactimo, a leading provider of premium technical athletic apparel, is excited to announce its new partnership with the Bahati Foundation. Pactimo will be the official clothing supplier for the Bahati Foundation Pro Cycling Team for 2012.

The Bahati Foundation was created by Rahsaan Bahati, a pro cyclist since 2001, to inspire and empower underprivileged inner-city youth to rise above their circumstances through the sport of cycling.
